One of those houses we all dream of living in. Timeless, sophisticated yet comfortable. A gorgeous Georgian family home, set in delightful grounds complete with all-weather tennis court. Three rooms available with some family space, available on request. Stephen and Lisa Minoprio are truly welcoming.
Creeting House, Creeting St Mary – 6 minutes away
Set in 9 acres, atmospheric Creeting House is a Victorian listed Rectory situated in the sleepy village of Creeting St. Mary. It offers super accommodation for up to 14 guests in six elegant and spacious ‘en suite’ bedrooms. Ideal for those seeking character of place. Dinner is available by prior arrangement. Steve and Diana are superb hosts.
The Old Rectory, Great Waldringfield
Enjoy 5* luxury at this 600 year old historic Grade II listed house. Accommodation is exquisite and the property has extensive gardens, a swimming pool and tennis court. Situated midway between Lavenham, Sudbury and Long Melford, so perfect for touring. The Suffolk Escape, Hintlesham – 20 minutes away
Suffolk Escape is as the name suggests. Four superb log cabins (each sleeps 4), situated deep in the heart of this arable farm, offer spacious and extremely stylish facilities, including hot tub, discreet lakeside dining and relaxation decks. No expensive has been spared on furnishings, beds, bathrooms, linens and towels. Excellent for flee and flop devotees. No children.
Damerons Farm Cottages, Henley nr Ipswich, – 20 minutes away
Thoughtfully converted within a delightful old Granary and Milking Parlour and situated around an old brick lined courtyard these delightful terraced cottages (some interconnecting), offer light and airy accommodation, perfectly suited to families. Excellent location for cycling.
Athelington Hall, Eye, Holiday Lodges – 30 minutes away
Athelington Hall near Eye, exudes a genuine, family feel with spacious, comfortably appointed log cabins, situated around a rolling, expansive lawn. Each enjoys private decking area with hot tub; some have saunas. Perfect for families or couples and a great base to tour from.

Four wonderful lodges, each sleeping four. State-of the art fixtures with everything controlled from an ipad. Private hot tub, sauna, huge beds and luxury linens and towels. Beautifully furnished throughout. Situated at Fynn Valley with its 18 hole golf course and accompanying views. While kitchen facilities are amazing, the Clubhouse means you don’t even have to cook!

Kesgrave Hall Hotel, Ipswich – 25 minutes away
Milsom Kesgrave Hall is a buzzy, lively boutique hotel, set amidst 38 acres of lush park and woodland. It has a 24/7 feel but in an unhurried way. The Ickworth Hotel, nr Bury St, Edmunds – 30 minutes away
Stately home accommodation on the Ickworth Estate (NT), stylised for couples, groups and particularly welcoming of families. Thoughtful yet discreet family features and considerations abound from crèche facilities, bicycles and play areas. There’s a choice of informal ‘conservatory’ restaurant or fine dining.
